Summer Day Camp

 For the last 18 years Shawna has been directing children's programming in some shape or form.  In August of 2015, God opened numerous doors giving her the opportunity to open Bittner Academy which provides Before/After School care and a Summer Day Camp.  

Bittner Academy started as a before and after school care program for school age children that attended Scott school. During the first school year there were 36 students every day! Recognizing the demand for full-time summer care, they decided to open a full day summer camp program.

The Before and After School Care Program provides a safe, active, fun, and Christian atmosphere for children.  The program also offers on-site tutoring for children to help alleviate this burden for parents allowing them to enjoy their evening engaging in family activities. The hope is that this can help build stronger families in a society that lacks the sense of commitment for family relationships. 

Summer camp includes Bible stories, field trips, swimming, arts & crafts, working with livestock, and organized games. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided daily for all campers.  We want kids to enjoy fun OUTSIDE, being active and NOT in front of a screen!
